Altruism (generosity) is one of our core values & so there are numerous ways you can get involved in the SOTYC.

We are dependent on volunteer time & financial support to continue to impact the lives of  disadvantaged young people we connect with across Stoke-on-Trent & to ensure that our work as a voluntary group with charitable aims is sustainable across the city.

 

Currently, Ruff & Ruby youth charity hold the financial pot for the Stoke-On-Trent Youth Collective, fully supported by professional accountancy practices & financial services at VAST: the Dudson Centre Hanley. Every gift donation for the Stoke-On-Trent Youth Collective must include the reference: SOTYC Donation

All income is managed by the Strategic Board in line with our aims & objectives.

YOU can make a massive difference to the lives of vulnerable young people by volunteering, donating goods or money, arranging a fundraiser, sponsoring an item or event, adopting us as your charitable organisation of the year, or giving towards one of our innovative projects.

VOLUNTEER

Volunteering is at the heart of what we do as a collective from serving the vision, to giving time to support other organisations & young people themselves.

​

Anyone aged 13 or over can become a SOT youth collective volunteer & Get involved in  a facet of the network you are passionate about.

INTERNS: [Keele Uni]

If you are a KEELE university student then we operate funded SOTYC INTERNSHIPS giving you 75 hours of hands on experience & connection with a wide range of diverse citywide youth agencies.

If you are over 18, an informal interview will be held to confirm your suitability. An enhanced DBS check will also be required for all successful applicants before they can begin working with the collective If you are under 18, a full risk assessment will be undertaken before your start date.
